Thesis: A multi-layered high-level control approach to task-sequencing and co-working in unstructured environments
    Grade: 1,0/4,0
    • Improved the operational productivity of a visual inspection robot platform by 20%
    • Enabled code-free & autonomous collaborative operation in interruptive environments
    • Utilized Point Cloud & Laser Scan data to localize and plan around dynamic obstacles in the environment
  2. Internship - BMW AGApril 2021 - November 2021
Development of a collaborative robotic platform for visual inspection tasks on the production line
    • Designed and developed the complete software stack including motion planning, state machine and functional safety using Python, C++, ROS, and middleware such as RabbitMQ
    • Setup X-in-Loop testing and facilitated high-level interfacing of the backend with the platform HMI
    • Extensively worked with Universal Robots, Laser Scanners, RGBD Cameras
  3. Student Assistant - Construction Robotics - RWTH Aachen UniversityOctober 2020 - March 2021
    Support in Industry partner projects
    • Implemented a vision-based tracking system for mobile robots to support construction workers in material gathering applications
    • Developed software packages to develop an IoT powered real-time inventory & material localization platform for use in construction zones
  4. Mechanical Engineer - Bosch Global Software Technologies, India September 2017 - August 2019
Product development – fuel line components
    • Led discussions with customers and suppliers about product specifications and design requirements
    • Designed sheet-metal and plastic injection moulded components for series production
    • Took active part and conducted DFMEA and 8D analysis with cross functional teams
    • Designed experiments for validation of manufactured components
    • Reverse engineered competitor components to improve and widen product portfolio
  5. Summer Research Fellow - Multiphase Flow Simulation Laboratory, IISc, Bangalore June – July 2016
Simulation of electrodynamic effects on the behaviour of water droplets
    • Modelled fluid dynamics of the Rayleigh Charge Limit using Gerris
